Three steps from your bedroom to the Southern Cross. Horizons Crux is a 3-day hackathon in Sydney, fully funded by Hack Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

Log 35 hours in Hack Club building whatever you desire. A game, a website, a synth, a robot... every hour is another step closer towards the Horizons.

Find your people.
Connect with likeminded individuals of all skill levels, and the same drive as you. Meet fellow peers, published developers, aspiring creators, let your passion guide you.

Fly out to Sydney.
Once you've cleared 35 hours, you're in. We fly you out to Sydney, Australia for a weekend under the Southern Cross. Bring a laptop.

How to qualify
Five steps to the Cross.
Spend 35 hours building real projects on Hack Club. No GPA, no essays, no résumé. The work is the application.
Join Hack Club
Visit hackclub.com and create an account. It's free and open to all high school students.
Start Building
Create projects and upload them to Hack Club. Anything counts: web, games, hardware, art.
Track Your Hours
Your building time is automatically tracked as you ship projects on Hack Club.
Hit 35 Hours
Once you accumulate 35 hours of building, you're eligible to attend Horizons Crux.
Apply
Spend your hours for a ticket at horizons.hackclub.com before June 30, 2026.
